You won't be machining series work that's already been run a thousand times. At TMC the parts you program are different every time, because they go into machines no one else builds.
TMC Machines designs and builds customized machines and robotic lines, 100% in-house in Ieper, Belgium. Machining, assembly, programming and testing all happen under our own roof. Our machines get complex: our record stands at 26 servomotors in a single machine. So your parts have to fit down to the hundredth.
What will you do?
- Programming in Inventor HSM: With Inventor HSM you create efficient, automated CNC programs for our in-house machining. Your programs help decide how fast and how precisely a part comes off the machine.
- Optimising and automating: You go beyond standard programming and think about how we can machine faster and smarter.
- Setting up and adjusting: You set up and adjust the CNC machines so that every part stays exactly within tolerance.
- Safeguarding quality: You check the finished parts and keep the bar high. A part that's just slightly off can hold up a whole machine.
- Working together: You work closely with design and assembly and step in wherever technical questions come up.
Who are you?
- Education and experience: A technical diploma (Mechanics, Electromechanics or Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent through experience, with experience as a CNC programmer, preferably in machining.
- CAM in your fingers: You program CNC machines and know Inventor HSM or comparable CAM software. Experience with automated production is a strong plus.
- Precise: Tolerance isn't a word on paper for you, it's a habit.
- Problem solver: You think about how things can be done better and faster, and don't wait for someone to ask.
- Team player: You like working together and help colleagues move forward where needed.
