You won't be building a standard machine that's already out there ten times over. At TMC you put together something new every time, from loose parts to a working installation. What's on the drawing, you bring to life.
TMC Machines designs and builds customized machines and robotic lines, 100% in-house in Ieper, Belgium. Our machines are packed with engineering: our record stands at 26 servomotors in a single machine, and at 6 cobots with a SCARA in another. You help build them, connect them and adjust them until they run.
What will you do?
- Assembly: You build our machines, mechanically, pneumatically and electrically. You make sure every component ends up in its place and the machine is ready to run.
- Connecting and testing: You connect the electrical and pneumatic components and test until every part does what it should.
- Fine-mechanical adjustment: You adjust moving parts until they run flawlessly. With dozens of controlled axes, every adjustment counts.
- On-site commissioning: You go along on location for installation and start-up. You're only satisfied when the machine runs the way it should.
- Thinking along and stepping in: During the build you support your colleagues and help untangle technical knots.
Who are you?
- Education and experience: A diploma in Electromechanics, Mechanics, Electricity or equivalent through experience. Experience in machine building is a plus, motivated starters with the right attitude are welcome.
- Technical skills: You are comfortable with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, reading schematics and reading plans.
- Hands on: You are practical, don't mind getting your hands dirty and still keep an eye for detail.
- Problem solver: You think in solutions and switch quickly when something doesn't go as planned.
