You won't be drawing one small part of a bigger whole that someone else dreamed up. You design the entire machine, from blank sheet to working installation. At TMC Machines that isn't the exception, it's the standard.
TMC Machines designs and builds customized machines and robotic lines, 100% in-house in Ieper, Belgium. How far does that go? Our record stands at 26 servomotors in a single machine. All those axes, guides and mechanisms have to fit, move and work together. In Inventor, you bring it all into one working whole.
What will you do?
- 3D design in Inventor: You design complete machines and components in 3D, from the first concept to the detailed working drawing. Fine-mechanical, dynamic, with plenty of moving parts that have to be right down to the millimetre.
- Working with the team: You align your design with the software, automation and assembly colleagues, so that everything you draw is genuinely buildable and controllable.
- Right through to the workshop: You follow your design into production and fine-tune it where it can be better. You see your drawing turn into steel.
- Drawings and documentation: You deliver technical drawings our machining and assembly can get straight to work with, no guesswork.
Who are you?
- Education and experience: A higher diploma (Industrial Design, Electromechanics or Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent through experience. Driven graduates with a passion for 3D design are welcome.
- Inventor in your fingers: We work with Inventor, that's your tool. Coming from SolidWorks or another 3D CAD package? You'll switch over with ease.
- Eye for detail and whole: You work precisely, but never lose sight of the bigger design.
- Creative problem solver: You think in solutions and dare to take a different route when it makes the machine better.
