You are the reason a machine full of axes, valves and robots does exactly what it should. No standard PLC work on an assembly line, but the control of machines no one else builds.
TMC Machines designs and builds customized machines and robotic lines, 100% in-house in Ieper, Belgium. Our controls are no small logic: our record stands at 6 cobots in a single machine, with a SCARA as the cherry on top. In CODESYS, you write the software that makes it all work together smoothly.
What will you do?
- PLC programming in CODESYS: You build the control that drives the machine. Servos, pneumatics, robots, safety: you bring all the movements together into one tight, reliable logic.
- Integration and tuning: You make sure every axis and every component works together down to the millimetre. On machines with dozens of controlled axes, every bit of timing counts.
- On-site commissioning: You go along on location, set up the machine and stay until it runs the way it should. Only then is the job done.
- Working with design and assembly: You work shoulder to shoulder with the people who draw and build the machine. Short lines, quick decisions.
- Training operators: You teach the people at the client how to master the machine, so they can carry on once you've left.
Who are you?
- Education and experience: A higher technical diploma (Electromechanics, Automation or Electronics) or equivalent through experience. Experience with CODESYS is an asset, motivated graduates get their chance.
- CODESYS in your fingers: You feel at home in CODESYS. Worked with other PLC platforms too? All the better.
- Eye for detail: You know that one wrong piece of timing can make a whole machine stumble, and you work accordingly.
- Problem solver: You dig in until you understand why something isn't running, and dare to rethink your approach when that's the better solution.
